It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our dear members, Socorro Velazquez. For those who were fortunate to meet or work with Socorro, we will always remember her passion for the sport of volleyball. Every time she stepped on the court to either coach or officiate, she always had the biggest smile. We will miss her enthusiasm, friendliness and kind spirit.
Socorro was a very caring person whose kindness knew no bounds. She touched so many lives in the very best way. A devoted family woman, she loved her children and family members very much.
Heaven is truly blessed with one of the best. Prayers for those Socorro leaves behind. We will surely miss our friend and colleague to our volleyball family.
